Overview
The undergraduate programme Bachelor in Finance and Management at International School of Management (ISM) combines the classic management and economics principles of business administration studies with extensive knowledge on the management of the financial sector.
The Bachelor of Finance teaches you about the core subjects of the finance world: among other, you will get to know principles of finance, accounting, financial products and how companies operate on global capital and financial markets. With the Bachelor of Finance programme, you will also acquire know-how in finance topics such as corporate finance, financial management and reporting. During the last two semesters you will additionally gain more in-depth knowledge of subjects such as mergers and acquisitions or international financial reporting.
If you decide to pursue a financial management degree at ISM, your will also enjoy compulsory internships in Germany and abroad, interesting hands-on consulting projects, workshops and a permanent contact with experienced lecturers from the financial management and business world.
Application process
To be admitted to the Finance Bachelor's program the first step is to register for the online application process on the ISM website. Numerus clausus (NC) is not required (your grade average), but we have an online admission process which tests your abilities, motivation to study and assesses your personality.
The admission process consists of submitting online your available documents (school leaving certificate, short CV, transcript of records, copy of your ID/passport and proof of English knowledge) and taking part in an online selection interview with ISM faculty staff.
