Overview
The Film and TV Production (Hons) course from University of Gloucestershire students’ films have also been recognised at prestigious international film festivals all over the world, including Sundance, SXSW, Encounters, BFI New Talent, and Aesthetica.
The course is highly practical so you’ll always be in production, learning by doing. You’ll create numerous films each year, gaining hands-on experience that prepares you for the industry while building a rich portfolio to showcase your skills and creativity.

Graduates typically go on to work in feature films and high-end TV series, and recently on major movies such as James Bond: No Time To Die, Indiana Jones & The Dial Of Destiny, Bohemian Rhapsody, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Pinocchio, Saltburn, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore and others, as well as HETV shows such as Adolescence, Sex Education and Doctor Who.

General requirements
- 96 – 120 UCAS tariff points, CCC – BBB at A levels, MMM – DDM at BTEC, or a Merit in your T-Level.
- English Language or Literature and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required.
- We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants, although some entry requirements may still apply for Professionally Accredited Courses. We accept Access to Higher Education Diplomas and make offers on an individual basis.
