- BBB or ABC in three A levels including B in Biology and B in a second science or mathematics subject.
- International Baccalaureate 36 points overall and 6, 6, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in Biology and 6 in a second science or mathematics subject
- DDD in the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma
- D*DD in the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
- T levels are not considered suitable preparation for this degree programme and are therefore not accepted for entry
