Knowledge of information technology is essential to modern management, and majoring in Business Technology Management at the University of Alberta will provide the capability to manage information systems or to assist senior management in its information technology strategy.

BTM offers a balance of business- and project-oriented skills related to technology's contribution to competitive advantage and provides students with hands-on experience using information systems to meet those goals.
