Overview

Graduate understands the basic principles of economy, public administration, public finances and regional development. He or she is also able to practically apply knowledge from accounting, management, marketing, project management and law. After completing their Economics and Management of Public Administration degree programme offered by The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE), graduates are competent to independently solve common problems of economic practice in the private and public sector and manage small teams.

Career opportunities

The aim of the bachelor's study programme Economics and management of public administration in the field of study Economics and management is to prepare qualified experts with a profile in a combination of economic, law and socio-political sciences both for economic practice and for further continuation of studies at the 2nd level.

Graduates can find job in public administration, but also in the non-profit organizations and private sector in the fields of planning, project management, accounting, taxes, administration, or in business.

a completed application for university studies of the first level

a certified copy of the completed secondary education with a certified translation into the Slovak language

the decision on recognition of completed education (validation) issued by the Regional Office Košice, Department of Education, Zádielska 1, 040 33 Košice

a certified copy of the transcript of records covering all the years of secondary education with a certified translation into Slovak. If the length of secondary education studies exceeds four years then a certified copy of transcript of records covering the last four years of study at secondary school is required

Curriculum Vitae in Slovak (or English, according to the language in which the applicant will study) signed by the applicant

a copy of passport

a proof of payment of the handling fee for the admission procedure (can be submitted to the Study department no later than the date of enrolment)
