Overview

The Management of Earth's Resources programme from The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE) will provide to graduates a broader professional profile with comprehensive high-quality knowledge, for coping with a multicultural environment, with the prerequisites for successfully managing a business from the point of view of economics, statistical data processing, organization and management of production, quality management, analysis of the financial situation and project management with the possibility of applying as a qualified manager at lower levels of company management, or to work as an independent specialist in the specialized departments of the company, primarily in the department of economy, accounting and financial, environmental, project department of the company.

Learning outcomes

A graduate of the Bachelor's study programme Management of Earth Resources is able to:

Can use his/her knowledge and skills in the field of technical and natural science disciplines, in the field of economics, management, management, informatics and quality, in the application of environmental, economic, legislative and social aspects in planning, decision-making, management and control of company activities, in the field market evaluation, statistical data processing, project management, from the field of application of new, modern information technologies in business management and their understanding in a way that reflects a professional approach to work and profession.

He/she has competences usually proven by putting and defending arguments and solving problems, specific tasks in the field of study Acquisition and processing of earth resources, in the study programme Management of Earth Resources.

Has the ability to acquire and interpret relevant data and facts in the field of study Acquisition and processing of earth resources, study programme Management of Earth Resources and based on them to make ethically and socially responsible decisions and manage the company.

Can communicate information, concepts, principles, problems and solutions to professional and lay audiences.

Has the developed educational skills necessary to continue further studies with a high degree of independence.

a completed application for university studies of the first level

a certified copy of the completed secondary education with a certified translation into the Slovak language

the decision on recognition of completed education (validation) issued by the Regional Office Košice, Department of Education, Zádielska 1, 040 33 Košice

a certified copy of the transcript of records covering all the years of secondary education with a certified translation into Slovak. If the length of secondary education studies exceeds four years then a certified copy of transcript of records covering the last four years of study at secondary school is required

Curriculum Vitae in Slovak (or English, according to the language in which the applicant will study) signed by the applicant

a copy of passport

a proof of payment of the handling fee for the admission procedure (can be submitted to the Study department no later than the date of enrolment)
