Overview

It aims to prepare a graduate who is aware of theoretical concepts of biological sciences, their technological applications in industry and utilizing them to serve the environment and community where he lives.

Program of Industrial Biotechnology from Tanta University  presents basic information and skills required for preparing graduates with skills and abilities that qualify them for competing in labor market to get available opportunities in factories of food, chemical and industrial products that depend for their production on living organisms or their components as well as the area of medical analyses and pharmaceutical industries.

Program Objectives

• Biotechnology Program aims to meet students' aspirations, realize their aspirations for applying what they learned, and to train them in innovation. 

• It seeks to prepare a graduate who is aware of theoretical concepts of biological sciences, their technological applications in industry and utilizing them to serve the environment and community where he lives. 

• The program qualifies student to work in different factories, analysis labs, hospitals, blood banks, Forensic Medicine Authority, Serum and Vaccine Authority, pharmaceutical companies, branches of Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), water treatment plants, public and private universities and research centers throughout the Republic. 

• Program of Industrial Biotechnology aims to prepare a trained graduate qualified for applying what he learned to establish his own project for producing or manufacturing new products using applications of biotechnology that he studied in depth and was trained in efficiently through the theoretical and practical study and field training he received throughout the academic years.
