Overview

During their study, Nursing students at Chang Gung University of Science and Technology are required to complete internships at various teaching hospitals or at nursing units in medical centers located in Keelung, Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Changhua, Chiayi and Kaohsiung. During their practicums, students gain clinical experience, which in turn helps the medical centers provide quality care to patients.

In addition, during their last academic year, all students are required to take comprehensive nursing practicum courses.

They are also required to work with nursing staff in order to gain experience in real clinical settings, which prepares them to become competent candidates for health care facilities as soon as they graduate.
