Overview
Sport Kinetics from The University of the West Indies will provide the foundation for those wishing to become Biomechanists, Sports Nutritionists, Sports Physiologists and experts in athletic training across the lifespan. The programme will also expose persons to other emerging fields associated with sports and movement science. All of this will be done while exposing the student to the History and Ethics of Sports in the Caribbean, and its impact on Caribbean society.
Careers
The BSc in Sport Kinetics programme seeks to target persons who are currently working in any of the numerous areas in coaching, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, private entities and other individuals, including school leavers with an interest in the field.

- Mathematics and English Language from either or both of the following examination bodies: General Certificate of Education, Ordinary level (GCE O’Level) Grades A, B or C or Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) General Proficiency Level 1 or 2, General Proficiency Level 3 after 1998.
- Two subjects from either or both of the following examination bodies. General Certificate of Education, Advanced Level (GCE A’ Level) Grades A, B, C, D, or E. or Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) Units 1 & 2 of each course. Grades 1- 5
