Overview
The language of instruction in the Molecular Biology and Genetics program at Istanbul Medeniyet University is English. The areas of interest in the department are the development of diagnosis and treatment molecules, energy generation in the vegetative system, cancer biology, cell functions and division, researching molecular structures and processes involved in the onset of disease.

General requirements
- Being in the final year of high school or having graduated from high school is required.
- Applicants must meet the requirements for being an international student, as stipulated in the Higher Education Council's guidelines for the admission of international students.
- Having taken the TR-YÖS exam and met the minimum score requirement for the relevant program.
- Applications from those who completed their high school education abroad through distance learning will not be accepted. The General Directorate of Security will cancel the registrations of those whose entry and exit from the country during the academic year are detected and who are found not to have completed their high school education abroad through formal education.
