Overview

Our primary aim in the History programme at Istanbul Medeniyet University is an education integrated with the world with the help of national and international partnerships such as Farabi and Erasmus Programs in addition to a mandatory English Preparatory Class, minor and double majors in the other available programs of our faculty.

Furnishing our alumni with the knowledge of history, as well as reading texts in at least one western and one eastern language and the ability to making research and textualizing the results of research are among the other aims of our department.

General requirements

Being in the final year of high school or having graduated from high school is required.
Applicants must meet the requirements for being an international student, as stipulated in the Higher Education Council's guidelines for the admission of international students.
Having taken the TR-YÖS exam and met the minimum score requirement for the relevant program.
Applications from those who completed their high school education abroad through distance learning will not be accepted. The General Directorate of Security will cancel the registrations of those whose entry and exit from the country during the academic year are detected and who are found not to have completed their high school education abroad through formal education.
