Overview
Experimental Biology from The University of the West Indies is intended to appeal to those students seeking a degree which emphasizes a laboratory-based experimental approach to Biology with concomitant expertise in a wide range of laboratory techniques. The design of the programme encourages students to combine courses from the three main areas of Biology: Animal Biology, Plant Biology and the Biology of Microbes.

- Five CSEC subjects (General Proficiency Grades I-III) and/or GCE O'Level/BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) which must include English Language, Mathematics,
- at least two approved laboratory science subjects AND Two double Units CAPE or 2 GCE A- Level subjects chosen from Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.
