Biomedical Radiation Science from The University of the West Indies helps students be exposed to theory and practice in the safe use of radiation technology in medicine, industry and science. Students will also explore specialization in procedures for medical diagnostics and treatment, quality control of radiation facilities as well as radiation safety and protection for staff and patients.

Careers

The graduates will use acquired skills in careers such as Radiation Safety Officers in industries using radiation (e.g., bauxite production, cement manufacturing, petroleum refineries).
