Writing, Literature and Publishing from The University of the West Indies draws on a natural synergy creative writing, literature, media, communication and publishing. It recognises that the transferable skills gained from the study of literature and creative writing are particularly highly desirable in publishing. Students will take a combination Of courses drawn from the BA Literatures in English. the BA Digital Media Production.

- CSEC English A' Grades 1 or 2 ORLiteratures in English at Cape LevelOR Comrnunications Studies atCAPE Level.
- Five CSEC subjects (General Proficiency Grades I-III) and/or GCE O'Level / BGCSE subjects (Grades A-C) including English Language AND two double Units CAPE subjects or 2 GCE A-Level subjects (one of which must be a Humanities subject for which courses are taught at the University). Strongly recommended : A foreign language
- Individuals without a foreign language pass, at least at CXC CSEC, will be required to take a least one of the basic foreign languages courses.
