Assessments are designed to mirror work-based situations, minimising traditional examinations in favour of action-oriented evaluations, presentations, and portfolio submissions. When exams are included, they are primarily 'timed assessments' or 'open-book' formats, allowing for a more practical demonstration of knowledge.

Students will engage with core and optional modules throughout their studies. The core modules include Management Project and Business Strategy, while optional modules may encompass Corporate Finance, Strategic Human Resource Management, and Global Branding, among others. In the second semester, students can opt for a Work Placement or study additional modules focusing on Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics.

The programme culminates in a research dissertation, allowing students to explore a specific area of interest within a relevant organisational context. This dissertation can be aligned with their work placement project, further enhancing their practical experience and academic understanding.

Facilities at the University of Chichester include a well-equipped Learning Resource Centre that houses a library with over 200,000 books and 500,000 eBooks, alongside industry-standard software and equipment for practical learning.

Furthermore, the programme's strong vocational focus is bolstered by the work placement module, which is part-time and spans 20 weeks.
