Mathematics (Hons) from Northumbria University is underpinned by our research strengths in areas of applied mathematics and in your final year you will have the opportunity to do a substantial piece of research in areas such as biomathematics, classical and quantum dynamical systems, symmetries and integrable systems, magnetohydrodynamics and nonlinear waves.
