Syllabus

The curriculum encompasses five key components that are integrated throughout the training:

• Theory and Application of Counselling and Psychotherapy
• Skills Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy
• Experiential Group Process and Personal Process Integration
• Supervised Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice (Years 3 & 4)
• Integration of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Years 3 & 4)

Students are required to engage in 120 hours of client counselling during their final two years, under the supervision of an MTU-appointed supervisor. Additionally, they must complete at least 100 sessions of personal therapy before graduation, which is arranged independently and incurs separate costs.
