Essentially, students are educated to work in the sport, leisure and business sectors of the economy, and this Sport and Exercise Management (Honours) programme at Munster Technological University provides the specialist skills and competencies needed to achieve this. The comprehensive Work Placement Programme in Year 3 provides significant breadth and depth in the operational machinations of the Sport, Exercise and Health Industry, effectively establishing work-ready experiences for all students. Active participation in sport and/or physical activity is an advantage. However, applicants do not need to have exceptional ability or achievements in sport to excel in this programme.
