Overview
The Health and Care Practice (Nursing Associate) course at Manchester Metropolitan University will prepare you for a role as a nursing associate which is intended to complement registered nurses.
A career as unique as you
As a nursing associate, your role sits between a healthcare assistant and a registered nurse, and you could work across any of the four fields of nursing (adult, child, mental health, and learning disability).
After completion, you’ll have the knowledge, understanding and skills to go into practice as a registered nursing associate. You can also go on to study as a registered nurse by undertaking our shortened nursing degree course.
