In line with the strategy of offering students quality, comprehensive training adapted to the needs of the labour market, the School of Sciences will offer students beginning their studies at Degree (Biology, Biochemistry and Chemistry) the possibility of taking the Biology - International Science Program at University of Navarra.

Overview

The aim of goal is to prepare students with the necessary skills and knowledge to be able to develop their professional and research careers in an increasingly global market. instructions The International Science Program offered by the School of Science will focus on specific contents, the reinforcement of communication skills in English language and the facilitation of international experiences.

This Biology - International Science Program at University of Navarra involves taking all the subjects offered in English in this language and writing and defending the Final Project Degree (TFG) in that language. In addition, students will have the possibility of doing an internship at business abroad. This does not imply any additional credits in addition to those of Degree.

What will you learn?

The School of Sciences of the University of Navarra works closely with the Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy, and other research centres of the University, such as the Centre for Applied Medical Research (CIMA), the laboratory Integrated Environmental Quality (LICA), the Centre for Applied Pharmacobiology (CIFA), the Scientific and Technological Institute (ICT), etc. This has led to the creation of a university campus specialising in Experimental and Health Sciences that is unique in Spain.

The optional subjects allow the student of the Degree in Biology to personalise their degree and train more intensively in a specific area, which facilitates their insertion into the world of work. Thus, the student can acquire an intensification in some of the most demanded areas in the field of Biology.

The students of Degree in Biology have the possibility to participate in a specific training programme in English which, under the supervision of a tutor, allows, for example, to carry out a project experimental research in Biology within the Degree, which must be prepared and defended before an examining board entirely in English.

In addition to seminars, tutorials, professor and bibliographic material, student has several subjects taught in English throughout the Degree in Biology.

  • Admission to the studies of Degree in Biology involves passing a test subject test of academic questions of high school diplomaBiology, Chemistry and Mathematics (60 questions)
  • a test English level test.
  • If you are studying in a country outside the European Union, in addition to the above tests, we will also carry out an assessment of professional competences.
