Who Should Enrol?
- Consider enrolling in the AEIP if you possess above-average language skills in ASL and English which are the languages of study and instruction in the AEIP.
- You should also have a genuine interest in the study of languages within cultural contexts. Interpreters work in a variety of settings with a variety of people.
- This program is academically demanding. You will need to be highly motivated and possess excellent time management skills to effectively balance program and personal responsibilities.

Submit proof of graduation from or enrolment in:
RRC’s ASL and Deaf Studies program with:- An average grade of B (70%) in ASL 1 and ASL 2
- An average grade of B (70%) in Writer’s Craft 1 and Foundational English for Interpreting
- An average grade of B (70%) in Language Processing: English
or
The final year of another ASL & Deaf Studies/Interpretation program- Applicants must meet with RRC's ADSP program coordinator to determine ADSP equivalence.
