Overview
Program Description
Courses include: the study of head and neck anatomy, infection prevention practices, laboratory techniques and the relationship between general and oral health. The program provides the opportunity to practice intra oral skills on patients, and the importance of effective management in a dental practice. The Dental Assisting program at Red River College Polytechnic includes rotations at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry as well as a dental office practicum.
