Overview

At Motive Power Technician - Truck and Coach from Conestoga College with a focus on hands-on training in our state-of-the-art shops to complement the in-class theory, you will be well-positioned to enter this high demand trade area. In addition to the core trade-related skills including the repair of engines, transmissions, drive trains and electrical/electronic components, this programme also prepares you to take on related roles in the truck and coach industry including business development, shop and parts management; and a variety of other alternative options to a traditional technician career.

Careers

Graduates may hold positions as truck and coach apprentice; truck and coach, heavy duty, agricultural or powered lift truck equipment technicians; service writers, shop managers, business owners, in addition to working in manufacturing, service and sales.
