Overview

The  Aircraft Structural Repair Technician  Graduate Certificate from Fanshawe College prepares students to repair, overhaul, and modify commercial aircraft in accordance with high standards of aviation safety. Fanshawe’s Aircraft Structural Repair Technician program is a Transport Canada-approved program (TC-2019-09-4268) allowing eligible graduates to receive 10 months credit towards earning a Transport Canada-issued aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) “S” license. Graduates are prepared for careers with organizations involved in Canadian and international aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul.

• Robotics and Automation Technician 

Monitor and identify system faults or issues and take corrective action to maximize production of robotic systems used on site.

Help maintain a varied fleet of 13 aircraft, including light aircraft, helicopters, jet trainers, jet fighters and a heavy seaplane.
