General requirements

Four highers at BBCC. No specific subjects are required. Applicants should be able to offer National 5 (A-C) or equivalent pass in English (for Literacy) and in Maths (for Numeracy).

Other equivalent qualifications are accepted and mature applicants with alternative qualifications and/or work experience should seek guidance from the college.

SRUC uses UK ENIC (formally UK NARIC) to assess overseas qualifications.

Ideally, applicants should arrange for their own letter of comparability through Ecctis’s Statement of Comparability service.

Those speaking English as a second language should sit an IELTS, TEOFL or Cambridge examination prior to application in order to meet the English Language entry requirements of SRUC's courses.
