Program Details

The Department of Marketing from Covenant University, originally known as the Department of Business Studies, started as a full-fledged Department in the 2002/2003 Academic Session with 434 students for the 6 Programmes of the Department, namely, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. However, in the 2004/2005 Academic Session, Accounting and Banking and Finance became separate, full-fledged Departments.

In the 2004/2005 Academic Session, the Department of Business Studies had 502 students and 17 full-time Academic Staff as well as Associate Lecturers.

General requirements

The minimum entry requirements for admission into the Department of Business Management are credit level passes in five (5) subjects at the WASSCE/GCE, Pearson’s A-Levels/or its equivalent, obtained in the following subjects: English Language; Economics; Mathematics or Further Mathematics; any two (2) of Accounting, Commerce, Geography, Government or Business Methods.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.

You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
