University of Bradford 's Nursing (Adult) - Mid Yorkshire Hospitals (Hons) school aims to boost nursing recruitment for the Trust and widen degree course participation in the local area by offering our existing pre-registration BSc (Hons) Nursing programme in Adult Nursing.
Clinical practice experience makes up 50% of time on this three year programme.
You will gain a variety of experience within the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. There may also be an opportunity for you to practice abroad.
Career prospects
Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust will offer a substantive Band 5 post to students on the successful completion of their training.

- A levels BBC, to include at least two full A levels. There are no specific subject requirements.
- T levels Merit - there are no subject-specific requirements.
- BTEC Extended Diploma DMM - there are no specific subject requirements.
- Applicants on Access Programmes 112 UCAS tariff points from an Access to Higher Education Diploma - there are no subject-specific requirements.
- International Baccalaureate Requirements 112 UCAS tariff points to include at least 80 points from 2 HL subjects. Plus HL 3 or SL 4 in Maths, English Language and Literature A or English B.
- Plus minimum of GCSEs with grade C or grade 4, to include English Language or English Literature and Mathematics.
- Level 2 equivalents are accepted in place of GCSE English Language and Mathematics.
- Alternative entry requirements:
- We accept NVQ Level 3 in any subject – you must currently be working in a health environment as a healthcare assistant, support worker or carer with 2 years’ work experience.
