Professional accreditation

When you graduate with this University of Southern Queensland's Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Major Mechanical Engineering you will be eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as a graduate Professional Engineer.
With the experience you will gain from working in the field, you may apply for chartered status as a Professional Engineer. You will also have the opportunity to work overseas, with your accreditation recognised in those countries that are signatories to the Washington Accord.

Career outcomes

After you graduate, your professional skills will allow you to work with some of Australia’s biggest corporations as a Professional Engineer in the automotive, aeronautical, industrial, domestic, or transportation industries in modern mechanical technology, systems or specialist sales.
