Overview

At this bachelor of Aviation - Flight Operations at University of Southern Queensland, in the first year, you will study aviation, with the opportunity to experience your first foray into the sky as a pilot. In the second year you may conduct the majority of your flying training and then complete the rest of the degree either on-campus or online in your third year.

Career outcomes

When you graduate, you will be legally qualified to work as a professional pilot.
Some airlines offer cadetships or traineeships and the Australian Defence Force also looks for potential pilots.
Other aviation careers include flight instructors, tourism operators, large rural farming operations.
