Overview
The Bachelor of Project Management curriculum is built around three foundational semesters, followed by three practice semesters. In the first year, you’ll focus on business acumen, project framework, process analysis and core skills development. In the second year, the emphasis is on technical, tactical and strategic decision making.
The Project Management program from Bond University introduces students to how to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, procurement, communications, and stakeholders, culminating in a capstone subject on project integration management.
Most project management degrees worldwide are only offered at the postgraduate level. By offering a specialist Project Management undergraduate degree, Bond is the first university in Queensland to create a direct career pathway from school to professional certification as a Project Manager.
The Bachelor of Project Management can be completed in 6 semesters of full-time study. Thanks to Bond University’s accelerated three-semesters-per-year timetable, you can graduate in just 2 years or continue on to postgraduate studies at the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Masters level.
Career readiness
According to the annual Employer Satisfaction Survey published by the Australian Government Department of Education, employer satisfaction with Bond graduates has been rated highest in Australia for three years in a row.
We believe this is due to Bond’s uniquely personalised approach to teaching, combined with the application of case-based learning that encourages the development of increased analytical reasoning, critical thinking and a range of broader employability skills.
Our Project Management program’s clear focus on practical skills and the extensive industry connections, combined with Bond’s employability initiatives such as the Career Development Centre, means that you will enter the workforce with the skills, experience and confidence to stand out.
