Overview
Bond is one of seven in Australia and the only university in Queensland to be Accredited by the Actuaries Institute. It is an innovative and immersive program where you will combine elements of economics, finance, statistics, data analytics and advanced mathematics to develop techniques for the management of risk and business decision making.
Successful completion of the program provides all university components of Part I (Foundation Program) exemptions with the Actuaries Institute.

The Bachelor of Actuarial Science is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to Bond University's Bond FinTech Hub and Bloomberg data-sourcing terminals. Employment opportunities include working as an investment analyst, portfolio manager, actuarial consultant, insurance actuary, superannuation actuary, risk analyst, big data analyst, liability manager and high-level manager. Successful completion of the program can lead to Part I qualification with the Actuaries Institute.

- Current Year 12 student who successfully complete Year 12 with a final minimum score of OP5 (ATAR 91.00 or IB 33) or equivalent will be guaranteed admission into any undergraduate program other than the Medical Program, provided that any additional admission requirements for that program has also been met.
- If you are currently completing Year 12 in Australia, you may apply for a place in the January semester before you have completed your final Year 12 assessment. Bond University will assess your application based on your predicted OP, ATAR or IB score provided by your school.
