Overview
What will you learn?
Basic knowledge and skills of an environmentalist -as well as those specific to the different fields of application and disciplines related to the environment-, capable of solving the specific environmental problems (very varied in importance, nature and scale) faced by each individual and their society. They must also be able to understand the value of the environment considered in itself, and in relation to the individual and social human being. The environmentalist has an appropriate training in the scientific and social aspects of the environment. These studies allow for a specific orientation towards aspects of environmental management, territorial planning and environmental techniques.
Scientific curiosity and the ability to operate in international environments, enabling them to participate in translational research in the various fields of environmental policy to prevent the progressive degradation of our environment in an effective way.
Solid human and cultural training development that will help them in the development of their personality and in the achievement of attitudes and capacities to carry out an effective service to society with honesty, responsibility, capacity of teamwork, spirit of solidarity and service. The Environmental Sciences degree is offered at University of Navarra.
You will be able to work in...
- management of the natural environment. Planning, analysis and management of natural spaces and protected areas; of river systems, agricultural systems, marine reserves, hunting grounds, etc.; and of natural resources (water, air and soil). In addition, land management and management -through integrated planning-, sectorial and local strategic land management plans, programs of study of biodiversity and change of use and design of soil conservation plans, and plans for sustainable tourism development .
- Environmental management in administration. Coordination of environmental projects and studies in environmental management and public administration. Profiles such as Environmental Technician, Responsible for territorial sustainability programmes, Environmental Licensing Technician, Agent of development Local (ADL) are in great demand.
Environmental impact assessment and consultancy. Environmentalists are particularly in demand for environmental impact assessment and consultancy - an increasingly widespread requirement worldwide for a growing number of companies and economic sectors - as well as in waste management and the analysis of natural and anthropogenic risks.

- Candidates will be required to have taken the high school diploma international or external certification through Cambridge (advanced or proficiency), TOEFL (80 points), level B2 of the school of Language School, or high school diploma International with an intermediate or higher level in language English at the time of access to the at the time of access to School.
