Overview
Throughout the Architecture (Hons) degree course from University of Portsmouth you’ll be encouraged to pursue self-directed interests, reflect on your identity and develop your own position within architecture and design, supported by an open and collaborative school culture.
Portsmouth will become your living laboratory for exploration, helping you understand architecture’s societal role. Through hands-on making and critical engagement with emerging digital (and AI-assisted) design workflows, you’ll develop your creative authorship while addressing sustainability, social responsibility and the future role of the architect.
After graduation, you’ll be prepared to continue the path to registration, a master’s degree, or begin a career across the built environment. Wherever you go, you’ll leave as a curious, socially aware and confident designer, ready to shape the world with care and purpose.
