Overview
This Electrical and Electronic Engineering MEng course offered at University of Southampton builds on our long experience in teaching excellent electrical engineering and electronic engineering programmes and aims to give our students a broader spectrum of knowledge and skills that will allow them to work in a wide range of industries, including the power sector and the electronics industry.

- ECS students have a strong reputation for the breadth and depth of their knowledge of different technologies, as well as for the strong mix of practical and theoretical understanding gained in their degree programme. We have developed a range of partnerships with companies large and small across the UK and global manufacturing technology, business and finance sectors, and high-tech industry. General requirements
- International Baccalaureate (IB): 38 points overall, 18 from Higher Level to include Maths and Physics, Standard Level 5 English. Applicants who have not completed both Maths and Physics at Higher Level are not considered suitable for first year entry - the Foundation Year may be more appropriate.
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): AA in Mathematics and Physics plus A one other subject.
- UEC Unified Examination Certificate - Senior Middle Level: Students studying science track in English with 5As including maths I maths II and physics and not including Art, Chinese, Malay or Mathematics.
- Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY): Minimum of 310 overall with 80% average in Mathematics and Physics and subject to attending an extended technical induction programme.
