About the Course

The Gender Studies program of the University of Peshawar offers an interdisciplinary BS Four Years undergraduate program. In this course the students critically engage with texts, media, human rights, development and theories to identify their own social and cultural contexts.

Also, to challenge established ideas about freedom, power and inequality regarding gender roles and identities. The program offers some core courses to develop foundational courses which help in building up the background of students for further study. Analyzing how categories of women and gender affect and are affected by our everyday lives, historical information, and social institutions, provides students with skills that will prepare them for a wide variety of careers.

Admission Processing Fee is not refundable.

No printed Prospectus or Admission Application Form will be issued. The candidates are required to apply online as per the procedure mentioned above

Form once filled online and submitted after that no change whatsoever will be made. Moreover, preference, as given on the form, will not be changed.

Candidates on the Final Merit List must appear for submission of fee and their documents on the given dates and should produce all the original documents along with three passport-size photographs. If the candidate fails to do so, he/she will lose his / her chance of admission

The University reserves the right to withdraw any programme OR to modify the rules governing the programmes OR to make necessary amendments in the programmes OR courses of studies where deemed necessary. If the number of students admitted in a programme is less than 15, the admission in the said programme will be considered as cancelled.
