Overview

Throughout the Marine Biology and Zoology (Hons) programme offered at Bangor University  you'll be studying the interaction between animals and their environments, you can choose to focus on the evolutionary history of sharks, fish biology, invertebrates or animal survival strategies.

Situated in close proximity to the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) within a few metres of the sea, Bangor University offers easy access to a range of diverse habitat types and animals. Ideal for fieldwork, you’ll undertake experiments and analysis in estuaries, on the seashore, at sea, on land, and in the lab.
