- shall find jobs in companies dealing with design, manufacturing and exploitation of machinery, e.g. in design offices, and connected with production planning and automation of technological processes;
- shall possess the wide knowledge and skills in metallurgy, materials science, machining, joining technologies, engineering designing, automation, plant management, quality management and other related areas;
- shall be well-prepared to take up post-graduate studies leading to the Master’s degree – the faculty offers several proposals in English.
Programme Structure
The study program includes (not limited) the following modules:- Maths, Physics, Statistics and other base courses,
- IT module (information technology, programming etc.),
- Module of technical courses (algorithms and data structures, numerical methods, computer simulations, CAD/CAM/CAE systems),
- Design, manufacture and operation of machines and mechanical devices• Practical use of CAx systems, with particular emphasis on simulation, analytical and computational methods,
- Application of machining technology, foundry, welding, plastics and metal processing,
- Implementation of the production and assembly processes of machines in accordance with modern technologies
- Automation and robotics,
- Engineering mid-project (last semester).

General requirements
- After the amount of application fee is credited to the University account, the documents are checked for formal terms. The Admission Office verifies whether the certificate or diploma entitles to undertake studies at the chosen level, whether the language certificate is at the required level, and the authenticity of the documents is also checked.
- In the next step, the documents are sent to the Faculty Coordinator of the chosen field of study. This is where the substantive evaluation of the documents takes place. The grades for individual subjects are also converted. Each application is considered individually. It is the Faculty Coordinator who decides whether or not to qualify a candidate for studies. On the basis of a positive decision of the Coordinator, the Admission Office prepares a conditional acceptance letter with payment information of tuition fee for the first semester of study.
