About Civil Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia
The Department of Civil Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the oldest and the largest department in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The department has produced several eminent engineers who have made important contributions in the planning and execution of many important Civil Engineering projects in India as well as abroad.
Key Features
- The classes in evening courses are usually held from 6.00 pm to 9.15 pm daily, Monday to Saturday. Practical classes are held during daytime on Sunday.
- The timings of classes may be changed, if required. Annual examinations of these courses are normally held in the month of December/January.

- Self-attested copy of the Letter from the employer of the parent abroad (not older than 6 month at the time of admission)
- Self-attested Copy of the NRI Status Certificate issued by the Indian Embassy in the concerned country
- AffidavitonRs.10 stamp paper from the parent for financial support (can be submitted at the time of final admission)
- The candidate has to submit “Anti Ragging Affidavit” from Class 1 Gazetted Officer/Notary
