Overview

As a Communication Studies student at University of New Brunswick, on our Saint John campus, you will cast a critical eye on the impact of new technologies and processes on our social, political, economic, and cultural landscapes.

Topics include the decline of newspapers, radio, and television; the rise of Twitter, Facebook, and other social media; the impact of mobile computing; and the eternal question of ‘do we control our devices or do our devices determine who we are?’
