Overview
In this direct entry Law and Arts - Law and Business programme from Trent University , you will spend the first two years studying at Trent, majoring in one of 18 academic disciplines. In years three, four, and five, you will take your education across the Atlantic to Swansea University to study law. Your sixth and final year is completed back at Trent, where you will finish the remaining credits for your honours bachelor’s degree and take Canadian Law courses.

Through a partnership with Swansea University in Wales, this dual degree program offers you the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours or a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at Trent and a law degree from the renowned Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law in the UK in just six years no need to write the LSATs.
All of this will prepare you to write your National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams, a step towards being licensed to practise law in Canada. Through our unique dual-degree program, you will acquire a skill set that will set you apart in the competitive field of law. Here, you will be trained to apply legal concepts in a practical environment, building transferable skills in communication, negotiation, collaboration, research and analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
