One of the few QTS courses in the country to offer this area as a significant focus, the Primary Education (5-11) - Inclusion with SEND with QTS (Hons) programme from University of Cumbria ensures that you develop the skills and knowledge to support the learning and development of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Put your passion for social justice into practice by uplifting the achievement and opportunity of traditionally disadvantaged children, training to become a life-changing SEND/Inclusion specialist teacher.
On this course you will
- Spend 32 weeks in school placements, including specialist provision if you choose.

Living costs

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
- Automatic tuition fee discount applied for all EU/EEA/Swiss nationals, currently resident in Europe, who will be commencing their studies in 2022/23.
- The scholarship will reduce the level of tuition fees payable from the Overseas tuition rate to the Home / UK tuition fee.
- For 2022/23 the annual Home fees are £9,250. If the course is of more than one year's duration the scholarship will be applied each year for the duration of the degree program.
