
Overview
Social-Economic Sciences at University of Antwerp will introduce you to several different fields, helping you to discover where your interests lie so that you have the freedom to pursue a Major in Economics, Sociology or Business in the second and third year. These electives determine the Master’s programmes in which you can subsequently enroll.

- In order to enrol in an academic Bachelor's programme, you need to have (at least) a secondary education degree which entitles you to enrol in a comparable programme in a university of the country in which the degree was conferred.

Living costs for Antwerpen
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
The University of Antwerp directly participates in the selection process of certain scholarship programmes (Scholarships with UAntwerp participation). In addition students can also check if they are eligible for external funding opportunities (External scholarships). Scholarships are available for Bachelor, Master, PhD or for shorter stay programmes.
Do check with the Belgian embassy in your country whether they have any funding options.
Note that the tuition fee for most of UAntwerp's study programmes is reasonable when compared internationally. The cost of living for students in Belgium is about €16,000 per year.
