Our Programme’s Mission
The Economics and Public Policy programme at Masaryk University is designed to provide you with multidisciplinary theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to understand economic concepts and the specifics and complexities of public policy and decision-making. We emphasize critical and analytical thinking to help you effectively navigate and influence the public sector.

General requirements
To qualify for the ECON MUNI Economics and Public Policy bachelor’s degree programme, applicants must fulfil all of the following requirements:
- The English language requirement (documented level of English language proficiency)
- The academic requirements (secondary school leaving exam and previous study results)
- Personal motivation
- Sufficient knowledge in the field (assessed through an essay and an interview)

Living costs for Brno
The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
Funding
Masaryk University Scholarships:
- Compatriots' Scholarship: circa 4,100 EUR annually for students with Czech roots.
- Newcomers' Scholarship: circa 4,100 EUR for students from specified countries in programs taught in languages other than Czech.
- Accommodation Grant.
Other Scholarship Opportunities:
