Overview

The Computing (including foundation year) (Hons) BSc degree from London Metropolitan University begins with a preparatory year to help build your confidence and increase your skills. The foundation year on this course is shared with other foundation degrees, so you'll get to study alongside other students who are interested in a variety of specialisms.

This four-year course will teach you the fundamentals of computing, cyber security, mathematics and programming.
In your foundation year you'll learn the fundamentals of cyber security, design and communication, programming and mathematics. This knowledge will serve you well as you proceed into the following three years of the course. You'll also have access to our world-class facilities including our Cisco labs, Cyber Security Research Centre and Intelligent Systems Research Group.

At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma)
English Language and Mathematics GCSE at grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent, eg Functional Skills at Level 2). Applicants who meet the UCAS points criteria but who obtained a grade D/grade 3 in English and/or Maths at GCSE may be offered a University test in these areas
