Overview
Through a combination of study-units the Certificate for Graduates of Non-EU-EEA Nursing Programmes from University of Malta is adjusted to meet the needs of different applicants, after an evaluation of each applicant's qualifications. The programme is divided equally between a theoretical component and a clinical placement, which run concurrently.
The topics covered throughout the programme span across multiple facets of nursing care delivery.
These encompass both health and social care issues, and range across the primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare settings.
The core components of the programme address the over-arching requirements of the EU directive, and will enable students to consolidate their clinical competencies, to understand different healthcare systems, and to work as a nurse in healthcare systems within an EU-member state.
In addition, alongside the core study-units, students will pursue a set of theoretical study-units selected as required from a wide array of study-units which address a range of clinical specialities, and nursing / health concepts.
