The program also provides a direct pathway into Humber's Industrial Woodworking Technician diploma, allowing eligible graduates to enter Semester 3 and continue developing advanced technical skills for expanded career opportunities.
• The program develops the technical knowledge and craftsmanship required throughout the woodworking process. You learn to interpret technical drawings, select materials, fabricate furniture and cabinetry components, assemble and install finished products, apply finishing techniques and safely operate industry-standard woodworking equipment. Throughout the program, you also build problem-solving, precision and quality-focused work habits that are essential in today's woodworking industry.
