Overview
The centrepiece of the degree is the third year spent abroad. You can choose to work as a paid British Council language assistant in France, Germany or Spain (recommended for all on the Education pathway), or study at a partner university, enabling you to spend one semester in one country and one in another.
You can also take paid work placements or work as a volunteer on approved programmes, and there are opportunities in Latin America for students of Spanish.
