Our BSc Adult Nursing course will prepare you to work in partnership with patients and carers. You will be prepared to work with a wide range of health conditions. This course will help you become a compassionate and knowledgeable registered nurse. You will be ready to work in any modern healthcare setting.
If you choose to study nursing with us, this means your time will be split between learning on campus and learning on clinical placements.
This means for 50% of your time you will be learning on campus. The other 50% of your time will be on placements in a wide range of healthcare settings. These will include hospitals and community settings. Your placements will help you develop the hands-on skills needed to work in healthcare.
Whilst nursing appears to be a very practical profession, you will also gain a range of abilities that are developed in the classroom.
You will learn the theoretical elements of nursing. These support the development of critical thinking skills. These skills will provide you with a toolkit of strategies to help you problem-solve in the clinical environment.
