General requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
- Grade 12 English (C or U), or equivalent, or take the Centennial College English Skills Assessment for Admission
- Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U) or Grade 12 (C or U), or equivalent, or take the Centennial College Engineering Math Skills Assessment for Admission
- In labs, Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn at all times. CSA approved safety shoes and safety glasses with clear lenses and side shields.
- Additional clothing safety considerations include no loose clothing and arms and legs must be fully covered (no T’s or shorts). Workshop coveralls are required for most labs.
- Welding lab in addition to your PPE requires “Welders Gloves” and Cotton Coveralls are preferred.
- Lab specific PPE requirements are provided in the Course Outlines and must be supplied by the student.
