Law (Eng or NI) - Accelerated Graduate Entry University of Dundee

Overview

This Law (Eng or NI) - Accelerated Graduate Entry Entry LLB programme from University of Dundee allows graduates with a degree in any area, to complete an English Law degree in two years, instead of three. 

This course is recognised in common law countries that accept an English qualifying degree.

The university offers training for the exams to enter the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Northern Ireland and have close connections with providers of the Legal Practice Course and (LPC) Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) in England.

Careers

A new qualification route to practicing as a solicitor in England and Wales is currently (June 2019) being developed. This will be a centralised Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). This LLB course will still enable you to pursue qualification as a solicitor until after these reforms come in. We also run an annual Legal Recruitment Fair. This attracts high profile employers and organisations wishing to to meet students to recruit to graduate positions.

Many of our graduates have gone onto prestigious careers including at the Court of Session, the Old Bailey, the European Court of Human Rights and the UN.

Accreditation

This course is fully accredited by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (England and Wales) so when you graduate you will have full flexibility in deciding where to complete your legal training.
